Winter Faire

• Kindergarten Craft rooms – Supplies and staffing of volunteers to set-up, staff the tables and clean-up.
• 1st & 2nd Children’s store – Approximately 40 small items per family should be donated and staffing of volunteers for the set-up of the store, running the store and clean-up.
• 3rd Sweets table – Provide treats and staffing of volunteers to set-up, staff the table and clean-up.  Executive Guild will secure a permit to resell commercially made food and drinks.
• 4th, 5th, & 6th Illuminations store -Donations of homemade items and used Waldorf toys. Staffing volunteers for set-up, running the store day of and clean-up.
• 7th Decorating the school and Children’s store student volunteers.
• 8th Entertainment for the day and Children’s store student volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers from our community to ‘host’ tables representing the diversity of winter traditions!

Whether it’s Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Diwali, Chinese New Year or any other winter holiday that’s meaningful to you, hosting a table or creating an educational display, we would love for you to share your traditions, recipes, and/or stories that make each celebration special.

• All items must be handmade/assembled
• Booths are approx. 12'x6' and will be inside our classrooms
• Load in will be on event day from 9:30-10:30am, with set up concluding by 11:45am
• Clean up begins at 4pm on event day
• Booth fees TBA
• Sign-up form coming soon

Crafts

• 4th-6th grade families are assigned to donate, but handcrafted items (made by you or others!) are welcomed from anyone in the community.

Used Toys

• Gently used toys and children's items may be donated to the toy section of Illuminations
  • Examples: wooden toys, books, dolls; items that fit in the Waldorf method. We are also collecting wool sweaters (please no Merino).
